The Ruth and Emanuel Rackman Center for the Advancement of the Status of Woman (in Hebrew: מרכז רקמן לקידום מעמד האשה) at the Bar Ilan University Law Faculty was established in 2001 with the goal of improving woman's status and bringing an end to gender discrimination in Israeli society. The head of the Rackman Center is Prof. Ruth Halperin - Kaddari. Through legal aid, public advocacy, research and legislation, the Rackman Center works to fulfill the vision of Rabbi Dr. Emanuel Rackman to advance woman's rights in Israel and better woman's standing within Jewish family law. Once a year the Rackman Center holds a Halachic conference concerning different topics related to the Jewish Law. The Rackman Center holds a legal aid clinic which hold lawyers who represent woman of low means at the Beit Din, the rabbinical courts. The clinic also holds a seminar in which the law students accompany the lawyers in representing the women. This is done throughout the process, from preliminary meetings, through handling negotiations and presenting pleas, as well as judicial proceedings in the various courts. In addition, students attend lectures on the theoretical and practical aspects of representing women in family law, and take part in a bill-drafting project in family law. Three times a year the Rackman Center publishes the Din VehaDayan, a magazine that does important research on issues in Family Law, and a regular survey of important decisions from the Beit Din. == References == * (The Rackman Center website ) *(The Rackman Center in court cases ) * (The Rackman Center in Bar Ilan University Magazine ) * (American Friends of Bar Ilan University website writes about The Rackman Center ) * (Article about the Rackman Center conference in 2012. ) * (Rackman Center lawyer presents in the Israeli Knesset information about Woman Status ) 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「The Rackman Center」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
